Dog Hiking Position
Hardworking, motivated, and responsible individuals needed for highly rewarding work!! Exciting part-time position(s) available 1-3 eight hour days/week with a growing peninsula company! Smilin Dogs is looking for dependable dog loving individuals to lead off leash hikes on our private 750 acre dog park! Does spending the day hiking the coastal foothills with your favorite pack of four legged friends sounds like the job for you?
Necessary Skills/Job Requirements:
- Must be 21+ and legal to work in the United States
- Must have a valid California Driver's License
- Must be a responsible driver (CLEAN DMV record)
- Able to drive a large passenger van
- Experienced and patient with dogs - we're willing to train the right person.
- Physically fit and able to handle 3+ hour hikes
- Must have superb communication skills
- Should have outdoor skills and good directional sense
- Must be able to work independently as well as with a team
- Good time-management skills - This is a fast-paced job
- Must have familiarity with the mid-peninsula
- Must have reliable daily transportation to and from San Carlos
